Assessment and planning

The Statutory Annual Review is held at the school to assess the individual child’s needs and review our provision in depth. Parents are asked to contribute by attending this review and commenting on and helping to implement their child’s education plan.

Regular assessment, recording and reporting provides feedback on learning, informs future planning and provides records of achievement and progress. Our academic administrator coordinates this process across the school.

Pupils are assessed on entry and parents are provided with termly summary and annual reports as part of the statutory review process. The school carries out and submits assessments during the summer term where appropriate.

Information about the schools academic performance last academic year, including the results of any public exams undertaken by our pupils, is available from the head teacher on request.
